Composition for 8 sound transducers, based on the fictional underwater worlds of the "Croatian" distributary in Petržalka. Based on real recordings of Petržalka underwater insects and other biophony, new sound microcompositions were created. A physically close but perceptually distant landscape of a completely different sonic character. A constant struggle for existence without anthropophonic interference, collective harmonizing and searching for own spectral planes for the possibilities of communication.
The author decided to use the gallery space as a temporary zone for concentrated listening, which has no analogy in standard concert conditions. He uses a collection of unconventional sound apparatuses for this purpose, exploiting their specific limited acoustic abilities. The sound objects are set among small reminders of the material and biological reality of the distributary, including important or rare organisms of this ecosystem.
