It was located in an ice house behind the Gallery of Julo Binder. It consisted of a sound sculpture based on the [[Axis Mundi Sound Distribution System]], playing a 5-channel composition on a loop. The composition was mainly inspired by the specific timbres and spatial behavior of flies and other insects seeking a cooling refuge within the bounds of the cold, wet cave during the extraordinarily hot summer. The exploration of flies serves as a reminder of the mundane, yet omnipresent; feasting on the waste and the dead, yet almost angelically free to fly. Sonic *Musca depicta* thus underscores the worthiness of even the most minor and under appreciated organisms. **Location:** Gallery of Julo Binder, Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia **Date:** 19.-20. 7. 2024
