![[for_sphere_4.jpeg]] Site-specific performance composed for the [Sphere](https://novasynagoga.sk/article-detail/6061ffe3f158230b5c93ef06/?lang=sk_SK), a wooden parabolic sculpture designed by Juraj Gábor in the New Synagogue (Žilina, Slovakia). The performance utilized a self-made construction featuring two horns that could be manually rotated around the horizontal axis, as well as vertically positioned by a custom-built mechanism to find the focal point of the Sphere and explore its acoustic properties. Preliminary tests revealed optimal positions of the horns, types of sounds and frequencies. These were consequently used as the basis of the composition that allowed listeners to immerse themselves in the interactions between the sound and the parabolic structure. **Date:** 2021-10-16 **Location:** New Synagogue, Žilina, Slovakia *All photos by Natália Zajačiková* ![[for_sphere_1.jpeg]] ![[for_sphere_2.jpeg]]
